The Company Theatre presents

BEST OF TIMES

Written by Josephine Gazard

Directed by Megan Sampson

“No one cares if you get offended. Eat a teaspoon of cement and harden the f*ck up.”

When reunions go very, very wrong.

On an unusually warm evening in rural NSW, a group of former best friends reunite to pregame for their ten year high school reunion. As old wounds are slowly opened and clashing political opinions turn them against each other, the evening unravels into moral warfare as they try to connect to the world, each other, and who they once were.

Through the lens of a wildly dysfunctional friendship group, Best Of Times is an exploration of change, identity and belonging set against the backdrop of a country in political turmoil.
