Welcome to our bi-monthly Shakespeare-inspired showcase night - a night for Shakespeare enthusiasts to perform monologues, duologues, songs, and sketches written OR inspired by the Bard.
This is an event designed to platform local artists, and celebrate a diverse range of performances that highlight the universality of Shakespeare's insights on the human condition.
With the intimate setting of the Old Fitz Theatre, every moment is personal and immersive, making SENSELESS & FITZ a night of artistic exploration and theatrical magic.
SCENE DATING
Writers, directors, and actors collide in a high-speed theatrical experiment: one day to meet, rehearse, and perform brand-new short scenes on the Fitz stage. It’s a creative sprint designed to spark collaboration, creativity, and community.
On the day, we all meet at the Fitz where you’ll be introduced to your team. From there, you take the reins, coordinating your script work, rehearsals, and collaboration. We’ll also schedule a quick session in the theatre to help you get comfortable in the space. Then, that very evening, you bring your scene to life live on the Fitz stage in front of your peers, friends, family, and frenemies. Who knows? This could be the start of your next big role, project, or creative partnership.

From Sondheim to Schwartz, this cabaret celebration brings together a stellar cast of musical theatre's rising stars for one night only. Expect bold ballads and cheeky duets in a high-energy homage to Broadway and beyond.
Whether you're a die-hard musical tragic or just love a bit of razzle-dazzle, FOLLIES AT THE FITZ promises laughter, heart, and the occasional high note you'll be talking about for weeks.
