Avis O’Hara knows she’s the right kind of trans… so why does it feel so wrong?

A WORLD PREMIERE
Avis O’Hara (@theDIYDoll) is the most fabulous and famous trans influencer on the internet. Cutting-edge, left-tube vlogger Corrin Verbeck has had enough. Determined to expose Avis as a comphet, bio-essentialist, TERF-lite traitor, Corrin pretends to befriend her – but the plan backfires spectacularly… when Corrin falls in love.
This hilarious and unexpected lovers-to-enemies-to-lovers odyssey is a hyperpop musical about what it means to be the “right kind of trans”.
Following acclaimed concert presentations at Adelaide Cabaret Festival and the Hayes Festival of New Work, A Transgender Woman on the Internet, Crying arrives kicking and dancing as a full production. Don’t miss this fierce, funny and poignant exploration of identity, community and the transformative power of the trans community.
